Hay Peeps
This is my first official diary entry and u are about to get the real on what’s up with your girl. Well for the last few weeks I have been working on a few mainstream projects that kept me extremely busy. I had a tone of lines to learn for two different productions, but I didn’t mind it because my main focus this year is to try to go more mainstream. I luv doing porn but I feel that after three years of porn I am still in the same place when I started, a performer. I don’t want to be that porn star ten years down the line and I’m still trying to book scenes. This year I stated my production company and the first project is my website. I’ve been going around talking to different companies and still nothing. I have built a good name for myself and when I approached a certain feature dancing agency I was told that I couldn’t get work because I am black. I try not to let things like that get me down but it isn’t the first time something like this has happened. So I decided to put all my focus into my website and slowly exit the porn scene. Since I really want to dance I am just going to pick one of the clubs downtown LA and become a house dancer. I start school in late August and I can’t wait. It’s sad for me to say this but I honestly don’t know what a black woman in porn has to do to get the reconition that we deserve. It’s kind of hard to see someone of a different race come along after u and not do a good of a job but still does more. I’m thinking about getting a publicist to help me get my name out there a little more. Don’t worry I’m not quitting next month but the thought is in the back of my mind so don’t be tooo shocked when it happens.
